Acorn cottages is located 4 km off the R600 that leads into the mountains. At Acorn Cottages, we have the best of both worlds, total peace and quiet and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, but you are near the local restaurants and hotels for meals etc.
Take time for the number of things to do and see, it is not unknown for a guest to arrive for 3 days and stay for 12! They leave as friends.

Then there are the horse trails for both the experienced rider and the novice, experience the beauty of the Drakensberg World Heritage site from horse back, a whole new perspective!
The main attraction however, has to be the Mountain, for either a leisurely walk or a vigorous hike, and there are so many to choose from you could be here for weeks and still need to return for more.
