The Northern ‘berg, also known as the Amphitheatre region is the most Northern point of the Ukahlamba-Drakensberg World Heritage Site.

The Northern ‘berg is located about a 3 hour drive  from Johannesburg and only a short drive away from Clarens and Golden Gate in the Free State.

Most famous for the Royal Natal National Park and its’ most photographed mountain peaks that make up the Aphitheatre, the northern ‘berg is the ideal destination to stay in if you are wanting scenic beauty, walks and activities without it being too commercial.
